Chaloupka na Dobrém konci is a family-run centre of the Burian couple in Hněvkovice near Ledeč nad Sázavou, in the last house of a small village in the Vysočina region not far from the Želivka reservoir. The dark retreat takes place in a darkened, wood-lined shepherd’s hut standing in a large permaculture garden about 100 m from the hosts‘ house. Inside there is a bed, a beanbag, a meditation cushion and a bathroom separated by a screen; it has heat-recovery ventilation and is heated by a radiant panel.

Tomáš Burian has been leading retreats here for more than ten years. Once a day he brings home-made food, vegetarian, vegan or raw as agreed, and if the guest wishes, he is available for conversation.
